Re: This weekend....
And then this weekend I did the front dampers.
http://www.lotusdriversclubonline.org/how-to-guides-f40/front-dampers-excel-t287.htm
Thinking that would be it for a while.
Until.......
Inspecting the role bar bushes, one was almost and is now fully out.
So, another job for another winter weekend.
A call to SJ Sportscars on Monday should have some polybushes in the post ready for....
NEXT WEEKEND, oh.....Grandson staying, maybe weekend after.

Re:
I will be interested to see how you get on with the role bar bushes as this is one of my priorities to get done on the Elan along with refurbishing the rear roll bar itself. The bushes and bar is no longer available from new and in fact SJ sports cars said they would do the refurbish job for me for around £50 I think they quoted. Would be nice to see how you plan to tackle the job as I may have a go myself once I get the roll bar removed from the car in the Summer to allow it.

Winter - Jobs
Summer - driving
Well except for unforseen interuptions to the joy of driving.
Then it's the joy of ownership and bloody knuckles.
I'll lket you know how I get along.

Re: This weekend....
Well that's the planned winter work complete.
All four dampers changed.
Then, today fitted the ARB/Chassis poly bushes.
Tomorrow, it's driving time again.

Trigger, what a differnce the ARB/Chassis bushes have made.
Much better braking, no latteral front end movement at all.
The dampers have firmed the car up.
What a difference.
I love corners again.
