I agree, the man's pretty handy 'innit.

Please ... email me them at lotusdriversclub-cj@yahoo.co.uk and lets start another topic in the gallery section other than my own. It isn't too difficult to upload them if you fancy a go otherwise?
1 ... Create a free account on www.photobucket.co.uk
2 ... Choose and upload the photos from your computer to your account on Photobucket.
3 ... Copy and Paste the Image Tag into your message or use the Insert Image icon along the top of the post.
If you do have a go yourself and get stuck then just ask and we will point out where you have gone wrong ...

WHAT!!
I do try my best to keep up to date with happenings on there but even I who has posted over 10,000 posts on the POC forum cannot keep up lol.
Is it really being used on the front page and are there only a few left now? I best get over there and order one lol.
Thanks Dave
Wheels and Brakes Clean
Spent today with Tash cleaning up the wheels on the Elan along with cleaning up the Wilwood front brakes and stock rears and painting the areas that tend to rust over ...

Rear hub / disc setup
I now have a rear hub and disc set-up to replace the two part system originally used on the M100. A separate hub has been machined from aircraft quality aluminium without the disk which allows the fitting of a standard one piece disc of similar dimensions and position as the factory disk such that standard calipers can be used with. This also means that the whole hub set-up does not need to be changed when replacing the discs in the future.
Found my car on YouTube
While searching YouTube for some good videos, I found my car
Must have been taken at Supercar Sunday ... and it even looks shiney

Update:
Thought Id do a little update after just getting the Elan back from having a fair number of new/upgraded parts fitted.
List of parts fitted:
Cambelt, alternator belt, PAS belt, tensioners, idler, water-pump, thermostat etc.
Dave's Shortshift Kit (big smile)
Rear brake hubs, discs, pads, bearings and one refurbished caliper from SJs
Piper 2.25" Exhaust with Sportscat
Piper PCE
Ported turbo wastegate to 20mm
The details:
The rear brake setup looks fabulous thanks Bob, they no longer stick or squeak and are a great improvement over the originals. Dave's short-shift kit surprised me even though I expected nothing less! It is simply a much nicer experience now, very precise and exactly what the car needed. The Piper exhaust sounds brilliant on tick over and very meaty when giving it more than 3,000rpm, again a great improvement. Along with the Piper exhaust I also opted for the well engineered PCE and had the wastegate ported whilst it was all off. I have only had a few small chances to test any boost out but once I am happy that everything has bedded in nicely I will let everyone know the results. Photos and maybe even a few videos to follow soon.
Big smiles from CJ
