Octane Magazine Empty Octane Magazine

I wonder whether anyone who subscribes to Octane magazine might have redundant recent copies of the mag-within-a-mag called Chequered Flag? You can't buy it in the shops, it's for subscribers only.

I'm looking for the issues which carried reports of the Shelsley Walsh vintage meeting in early July (and the VSCC Cadwell Park race meeting in June) and the one with the report of the Aston Martin OC race meeting at Oulton Park on 3rd October.

If anyone is willing to pass on their copies - or just lend me them for a day or two - I'd be most grateful. I think you can email me via the forum (?) or you could phone me on 01386 792727.

Thanks in advance.

Peter

Hi Peter,

I've found their Back Issues dept to be very helpful in the past but I suppose you've tried that Route.

John Minister? One of the Mag's writers is also an Elan Fan, maybe he can help.

Cheers

Thanks for the suggestions, John. As you've guessed I've already tried the "official" routesfrom the Octane Editorial staff to the Editor of Chequered Flag and more - without any luck! I thought I'd try the unofficial route.

By the way, who is not an Elan fan??? Must be a very strange person!

All the best

Peter

I'll have a look but no promises - but I do tend to hoard a bit!

Much appreciated! I now have the December issue but still very keen to find a copy of the issue with Cadwell Park VSCC report. Even a short loan would be sufficient. And thanks for looking!

Peter,

I've found the Decone (AMOC at OP) but I think the other one you want is Sep and I can't find that as yet. I'll keep looking.

Do you want the whole thing or just a scan of your article?

Peter,

I've just found the September edition in my garage. I'll post it to you but perhaps you could let me have it back at some point.
