2010 Llanfendigaid,N Wales,long weekend trip

One of the main things that we as a Club are trying to do is provide opportunities for members and their families to attend a large variety of events, gatherings, weekend trips etc. Firstly this topic has been started purely for discussion so we can see what interest there is for this event. Following this it will then be decided whether to adopt this as an official Lotus Drivers Club Event, and offer places accordingly. The opportunity has been kindly offered by Nick and Karen Orme from Orme Creative. As members they have enjoyed several events this year with their family and would like to be part of organising this event for 2010.

We have been offered the house at half the normal price. The house has 8 double or twin bedrooms & 2 single so can sleep 18, 2 living rooms, a huge dining room, huge kitchen, it has an indoor swimming pool, pool table and fantastic driving roads all around. We have a choice of weekends. They are the 4-9th Feb or 25th Feb - 2nd March. The cost would be around £120 per couple or £60 per head for a long weekend.

The Club is also currently in the stages of organising a trip around May time to Scotland for either a short or long weekend, depending on preference. Therefore this long weekend may not suit you if you are planning on making the Scotland journey? In my case I would like to be at both.

Please let me know if this would be of interest to anyone or whether you have any ideas.

Just followed the link. This place looks proper posh like!!! Margaret will like the pool. I think I will fly in at the nearby grass strip. Can someone pick me up in the 4 x 4 lotus. nah, just kidding. I still can't pronounce it though!

Hopefully this will be going ahead with all possible rooms booked up. Certainly looks like a lovely place and I have never been to the West coast of Wales before so will make a nice change, plus it's not too far.
