Re: Curborough Intro to trackday/sprinting Oct 8 Thurs
An excellent day, possibly even better than last year!
Only one whoopsie, put a bit of a damper on the day, but at least it was drivable back home.
BTW, you've got a posible rival in the photo/video stakes! 'Spinball' was doing the filming, so hopefully we'll see the results on the site soon...?

Sound like you all enjoyed yourselves but what happened and any photos.

I finished the first video. This one focusses on the sprint with Jan driving while I videoed from the passenger seat.

Videos done. Sorry if I missed anyone.
Because I had to film the starts separately from the rest, there are some continuity errors where the people driving and/or the number of drivers change. Apologies for that, but it was somewhat out of my control.

Stuart,
The videos are superb.
What I liked best was Jan driving your car and showing that the lines I was taking were correct. Next time I will change tyre pressures and damper settings to do my car justice.

Excellent job Stuart!! I'm very impressed that as well as my run, you have shots of me in both Jan's Westie and Nigel's Escort!! I must book up for that day at North Weald we discussed, when we're back from Hols. Maybe see you at the monthly LDC meet at Alcester? Not too far from Telford ;o)

Re:
Sounds like this was a big success guys ... definatly looks so from the videos. I was even more worried that not being able to make it this year would mean no photos or videos from the event but thanks to Stuart I had some really good film to watch. Will make sure this gets well documented as a successful event and hopefully put on the calendar for next year. It would also be interesting to know whether people feel we should support more events like this as oppose to show and shine events? I would certainly be up for something like this around the Anglesea circuit in the summer
