Elise S2 rear tyres
Does anyone know if the Bridgestone RE 040 BZ 91Y is OK to use instead of the original BZ 90W ?
My local tyre shop says they will be OK . Any thoughts?

Hi Craig, presumably you've seen my post below on the same subject. If you order the part number shown there you'll get the right ones. I don't know where you are but you can get them in Coventry for cheaper than on the internet!!
According to Bridgestone Technical Dept in Leamington, there are significant differences, even between the ones used on the VX220, there are also tens of REO40's of the same size but NOT the 'Lotus ' spec DCK.
The ones you quote are different weight and speed ratings so won't be the correct P/N
