A Racing Car is Born: Westfield 1800
Have been watching this the past few nights and am quiet enjoying this program, following presenter Mark Evans as he builds, tunes and races a 7-type circuit racer - his very own Westfield 1800, a Ford Zetec powered car with independent rear suspension. It was released in 2004 but some of you like me may not have seen it.

Re: A Racing Car is Born: Westfield 1800
I go along with your recommendation Chris; superb as are all of Mark Evans series.
The programs have all been on the Discovery channels & every one of them has had me glued to the TV.
He's a fantastic presenter, getting across a lot of facts & being daft at the same time. Top man IMHO

Re:
That can be arranged John. I've been glued to the TV every night watching the series on the Westfield, it is very funny at times and more informative than I imagined it would be. Yes it's the episodes from the Discovery Channels that I have been watching.
Congratulations on your 100th post too

Re: A Racing Car is Born: Westfield 1800
"A Plane is born" & "A Chopper is born" are also well worth a watch; not forgetting all of the others.
I had a chat to Mark when he was doing a "spot" at the NEC classic car show a few years ago.
He was really chuffed when little me said how much I enjoyed his shows; a really nice, unasuming chap.
The best presenter on Telly after Fry that is; IMO. The tiny one with the shiny teeth on Top gear should learn from them (if that's possible?)
Discuss!!
Oh & thanks 101 now
