just would like to know everyones views on their partnership..

An elise owner i know once told me that he felt that having (at the time) such a small unknown company such as proton buy to lotus would devalue the Marquee, has anyone got any views on this?

my reply at the time was that the purchase was exactly what both companies needed, lotus needed the cash injection that proton provided and proton got what they wanted a company with excellent credentals in the handeling/tuning field.
