Greetings form Henley
Hi all, my name is Harvey living in Henley in Arden.
I am in my third year of Lotus ownership - the first two with a S2 Exige S that I used for track days and a year sprinting at Curborough.
This is now at Paul Mattys waiting for a new owner, whilst since the begining of December I have enjoyed the ownership of a 10,000 mile, 2 owner S1 Exige.
Just waiting for some warm dry weather to see how the S1 performs on the track

Welcome
Hello and welcome Harvey.
Like the photos a lot. I remember seeing you at Curborough in 2008 ... there are photos of your Exige posted on the forum and website. Hopefully the weather will be with us soon and we can all get on with the summer and some great events (not that I'm counting down the days). You're not far from our Midlands meeting, which is tomorrow, and hopefully I will get out of the snowy Forest to be there.

Re: Greetings form Henley
Many thanks for the warm welcome Trigger.
Yep I attended the introduction to sprinting day at Curborough in 2008 with Colin and Jan - cracking, friendly day.
What happens at the Midland Meet and where is it held?

I'm sure Eddie, the area coordinator, will sell it better than I can but in the summer months it's a chance to get together outside with other members plus their cars etc. Eddie is kindly planning a number of outings this year with a Breakfast meeting on Feb 21st at Stoneleigh Park and also with any luck a trip to Lotus Silverstone later in the year. Last year we had a talk from repair specialists Option1 and also an evening of Lotus films amongst other things. I am hoping to get up to Arrow tomorrow to hand out our events calendar from the web plus catch up with everyone after the winter months. I won't be in the Elan though.
The Midlands Area Meeting is held at the Arrow Mill Hotel, Arrow, Alcester, Warwickshire. The entrance is opposite the entrance to Ragley Hall.
Third Thursday of the month (Jan-Feb) 7:30pm
Second Thursday of the month (Mar-Dec) 7:30pm
Regards, CJ
