Re:
Certainly looks like a nice site ... picked my car up and a good price for a full service. Will have to look into it more to see where exactly they perform their servicing, reviews etc.

Hmmm...not so sure myself. I don't think you can beat the independent specialists we all know and use. This company seems to be trying to show they are Lotus specialists but in fact list all makes, models and even vans.Trigger wrote:Certainly looks like a nice site ... picked my car up and a good price for a full service. The comment about independents can do work and not affect the warranty is correct, the garage I use does this for my Lotus and also our company vehicles for some years now.
I used Blackcircles -an internet based tyre supplier recently and booked into one of their "approved fitting centres" and although the service was good and everything was done OK it actually took them nearly an hour just to fit two tyres, my local tyre garage usually has them done and I'm off and away within twenty minutes.

It's modern Life Tim,
back in November I took my Peugeot to the main Dealer to have the Winter Tyres/Wheels fitted.
I'd done my Back in again, so needed help.
That took an Hour, but most of that time was taken up by the Fitter entering details into the Computer Terminal.
The Bill came out in triplicate, he kept one Copy & the Cashier 3 Metres away kept the 2nd.
The mind boggles.
Have good Weekend

Re: Lotus servicing at Servicing Stop
Interesting but doesn't sound that good a deal for what they offer? 'Service' is only oil and filter change and a load of checks(!) 'Full service' includes an air filter and the same checks. Special oil (which you may want) is extra as well...? Looks to me like one of those websites that automatically inserts the type of car you searched for into the text to make it look specific. Probably uses a list of local garages they've signed up on commision. Or is that just cynical ;o)
