E-commerce Packages or Developers Empty E-commerce Packages or Developers

Post  NickO Tue Mar 17, 2009 2:04 pm

Does anyone have any experience of e-commerce packages and are they any good??
Alternatively are there any e-commerce developers on here who are able to build online shops?

Reason for asking is the freelance developer we currently use is very ill and is no longer able to keep working and we are looking for alternatives.

I hope I have posted this in the correct place confused sorry if not.

Cheers

Bit of a geeky question ... Laughing

There are of course business's out there that will design an e-commerce site / shop for you but you are looking in most cases at prices over £1000 these days. A better option would be to use sites that allow you to set-up your own e-commerce site and that offer dedicated packages to support you.

Take a look at the 123-ecommerce package

An option that requires less technical assistance, knowledge and money would be to create a simple website from scratch and use services such as PayPal to create a simple online shop and payment processing support etc. This is the track I am going down currently to allow the Club to offer regalia through the new website.
