Coleford Festival of Transport
Sure to be another good event this year and only 5 minutes down the road from myself. For those of you who have never been to this event, the festival is spread out over the whole of the historic town of Coleford with everything from classic cars, bikes, army trucks and more. If anyone is planning to stay the Sunday night before the event and haven't booked anywhere then give me a shout and I can arrange a good deal at the Speech House Hotel, a 17th Century former hunting lodge set in the heart of the Royal Forest of Dean, www.thespeechhouse.co.uk.
Oh and please remember when driving in the Forest that there are sheep on the road and they have right of way plus there are groups of wild bores and deer's to be found lately. On the plus side there are a lot of little lambs to be seen for all you softy's!
Please contact Conway Mathews at 'conhome@fsmail.net' for more information or myself at 'lotusdriversclub-cj@yahoo.co.uk'
Visit the Forest of Dean website for local info: www.visitforestofdean.co.uk

We will definitely be there. Hopefully on the club stand
Although as nice as it would be to stay at the Speech House I fear we will have to stay with Mother in Law in Drybrook .
Cheers

No problem with the sheep as they all ran away from the noise of my exhaust!
Great day, great weather and great company.

hahaha, nice to see and hear you enjoying your new toy Chris, very nice! Weather couldn't have been with us more I can agree and I was told that the event drew in something in the region of 18,000 people. What a fabulous day and thank you once again to all.
