help with pms

I have tried to send a member a pm and it does not seem to have worked, I tried then to send Tash a pm and I don think this worked.
When I clicked send pm by the posters name it toook me to a box, I composed the message and sent it, iyt then took me to a pm box, but it said the sent box was empty, where have I gone wrong?

According to Tash she has received your sent Private Message fine Kim.
For future reference the easiest way is to select the send PM icon underneath the members name, avatar etc as below. This will automatically set up a message to be sent to that member so once you have filled out the content and select send then away it goes.

What is it with me reading titles wrong today.....
