Funny when you look at the current status between just Proton and Lotus. Mind you there have been more than a few talks over the past several years between Proton and major car manufacturers such as VW although nothing ever came of this. The global motor industry is always going to get more and more confusing, so much money involved nowadays for manufacturers to stay true to their Country.

There was arumour a while ago that Audi wanted to go F1 so if VW had bought Lotus Cars we might have seen the name Lotus back in F1. Just a dream though.

I know the feeling ... then I really would be shouting at the tv when watching the F1.
