Explain that again John ... what you mean no Stoneleigh? I will be there for the weekend at Stoneleigh Festival with the car...

According to the club lotus magazine,there will be no Stoneleigh lotus this year but a bumper Donnington next year....

Are you on about a different Stoneleigh event as to the festival over the August bank holiday weekend?

Yes,this is the Club Lotus do,usually at the start of November...

Ahhh right I understand now. Any reason why they have cancelled? I'm sure there are plenty of other events for you to come along to John ... I attend alot of meetings and events with the Lotus Drivers Club. What area are you from as there is a show at the NEC in Birmingham in November.

This would be the annual parts fair held at Stoneleigh Chris. Its held in November each year and pretty much a Lotus boot sale.

Ahhh yea I've heard of this event ... 2nd of November it is meant to be ... any idea as to why it isn't going ahead?

From Club Lotus Magazine

"Club Lotus Parts Fair....There will not be a Parts Fair the (sp) year but there will be an extended Lotus autojumble at Donnington in 2009 to make up for it.
All Lotus autojumblers can contact us now to reserve space as we expect to sell out as usual.
Dates for Donnington will be announced next issue"

Shame! last year we had a blast down the dual carriageway with the LEF boys!!

Its also a great opportunity to pick up some bargains/upgrades for the car and my last major jaunt before the winter really kicks in.

Both Sue and I thought Stoneleigh the better of the twop events, even though it was further to travel.

thats a real shame. last year was a great day out. and weather was great, had a good blast both up and down the A5, have to see you all at doni.or maybe sooner
