I noticed that ASDA have Holts Tyreweld on offer at the moment for £4.00, about a quarter of the usual cost. A good chance to get some spares!

Thanks for the info, will pop in and get a couple - a bit of advice for any of the 17" rear wheel Elise brigade - you need 2 canisters to inflate the tyre properly Shocked

Other than damage done by the cause of the puncture and then driving on a flat! The solution is apparently removed with hot water and detergent -

although I wonder how many tyre centres would do this...! Maybe best to do this yourself and then take the tyre to be fixed and re-balanced.
