Donington Lotus Festival
Hi,
I was wondering if there would be a facility for selling a few Lotus Videos & Books on the LDC stand this year?
Cheers
John

Re: Donington Lotus Festival
Hi John,
I shall be there on the Saturday so come and see us on the LDC stand and I'm sure we can put your items on the table for sale.
All the best,
Tim.

Thanks Kim,
It was a bit of a NIMBY moan on my behalf.
I do sympathise with the Fishermen of most countries, they're having a hard time of it.
You have to hand it to the French though; they do know how to protest.
It's something we Brits could learn from, provided we could prevent ourselves being knocked senseless by Metropolitan Policemen
Cheers

The indoor Lotus show will be unaffected as far as we are aware so yes sure there will be, especially as the Club will be there with a stand, along with lots of auto jumbles and money spending opportunities lol. A few little extra LDC items, that me and Chris have been working on will also be for sale on the day

The racing would have been a plus but the Lotus festival remains, as always, a highlight of the Lotus year.
Not to be miissed.
That's if you don't have to cross the "Channel" to get there
Cheers

Agree with John, the festival is a highlight of the year and although we will not be coming up in the Lotus, we will be there for both days, and hopefully won't spend too much money in the process lol.
You will be missed by the way John ... well I was looking forward to meeting you

In addition to the regular modern and historic car displays, this year the Show will have a new theme with a number of live practical technical demonstrations. These will be given by some of the most respected names in the business and will cover a wide range of subjects. Lotus specialists CTM Performance Engineering will be running question and answer sessions throughout the show on servicing and rebuilding the series of legendary Lotus twin-cam engines. Nick Fulcher – who was responsible for creating the interior of the famous James
Bond Esprit in the film The Spy Who Loved Me – will be on hand to give advice about how to maintain and restore leather and trim. Nick will be showing visitors some of his tricks of the trade and how to keep their
car’s interior in top condition. Option One Sportscars will be demonstrating how to repair, restore and spray fibreglass – a skill which demands specialist but easily learnt techniques. Brian Buckland will be showing how to tackle a chassis change and giving free technical advice and help.
Lotus Cars will be bringing the fabulous new Lotus Evora which will make an interesting comparison with the M250 prototype from 1999.

Well I is flattered 'innit.
seriously though I was looking forward to meeting some ol' friends & the "new kids on the block"
I'm sure you will have to say goodbye to some of your "hard earned". It's unavoidable; bite the bullet
I hope you're enjoying you're role in LDC
Cheers
John
