Proton Cars win award for 'Best Website Design'
One for Hobbit:
02 Apr 2008
Proton Cars (UK) scooped an award for ‘Best Website Design’ at this year’s Creative East Awards, hosted by Clive Anderson.
More than 400 business leaders and guests attended the event on 20th March 2008 to celebrate the East of England’s creative talents at the newly refurbished Theatre Royal in Norwich. The other finalists for ‘Best Web Design’, sponsored by Pricewaterhouse Coopers were Wicksteed Playscapes by Affinity New Media, Quayside Windsurfers by Spring Webdesign and Nakedbodycare.co.uk, also by Affinity New Media.
The Proton Cars website, redesigned by BGD Group Ltd. last year, went live in April 2007 and has received high praise for its design and functionality from customers and dealerships alike. Simon Park, General Manager of Sales & Marketing at Proton Cars (UK), was delighted with the award, “This is a great achievement for everyone involved in the redesign of the site last year and we will continue to maintain and develop our website to a very high standard.”
Users of the Proton website can easily request a digital or printed brochure, book a test drive and find their nearest dealer online. The website also features comprehensive information about the Proton range, current offers and latest news. Proton customers can now choose from the small but perfectly formed Savvy 5-door city car, the Lotus inspired Satria Neo 3-door supermini and the Lotus engineered and designed GEN-2, available as a sporty hatchback or more sophisticated 4-door saloon. With prices from just £5,995 OTR and offers of up to £1,000 off the list price at participating dealers, customers can’t afford to miss out on the latest news from Proton Cars (UK).
