MELLOW MOTORING MAGIC
This, our last event of the year, is turning into another great event weekend. It started to come into its own in 2008, but we have big plans for 2009 - La Vie may have competition!
We aim to present 5 decades of classic and vintage cars from 1920 - 1970
We all have our own classic decade, of course, the cars of your teenage years that impressed you, made you desperate for that driving license. Which one was yours?

Prescott Goes Electric
For our final event of a very successful season, we are going electric. Not only will spectators see the first electric car to race on the hill, but will also be able to view the new Westfield i-racer Sports Car.
Westfield Sports Cars is a leading UK independent vehicle manufacturer, actively investing in lower carbon technologies. They have developed an all-electric drive system to reflect the demand from environmentally responsible drivers who want a sports car without the emissions.
The vehicle is being developed as part of a UK government funded programme through Advantage West Midlands and the Niche Vehicle Network. The aim is to offer the i-racer as part of the world’s first one make electric car race series, with interest currently from the UK, Sweden and France.
The vehicle has been designed with safety and performance in mind, along with vehicle noise. When development is complete the car should sound like the Pod racers from Star Wars Episode 1, a popular sound choice from a poll taken at Autosport 2009.
With a centre of gravity lower than a F1 car, and current speeds of up to 110 mph, it should prove very interesting indeed. The i-racer will appear at events during 2009 with a full race series due for launch in 2010.
The University of Hertfordshire Electric Formula Student car will be the car on the track. The car is classed as a High Voltage (HV) vehicle, powered by two 72 volt permanent magnet DC motors in series run by a 144 volt battery pack. How will it perform? We think you need to be there to see for yourself.

We have the following classes racing over the weekend: TVR, Morgan, MG, TR, Classic Members, Porsche (Sat)

Any body going .
