Thank You!
Thanks to Chris Mayhew for the idea and impetus to get this meeting off the ground...
Thanks to Colin Smith for the gymkhana and drive out.....
Thanks to all their helpers for making it happen......
Thanks for raising a few quid for the Club with the raffle (and thanks for second prize!)
Thanks to everyone who turned out and made it a success (particularly the campers).
As a 'first go at a new venue' meeting this was clearly a resounding success. I sincerely hope that we can build on this encouraging start and turn it into an annual event with ever more attractions and reasons for members to get involved. If you agree please say so......
Now it's time to book your place at the Christmas dinner (se other thread....)

Re:
Thank you to mother nature for the fantastic weather! The drive out around the country side with the aid of Colin's tulip diagrams was fun and a good drive, plus the pub was a fantastic choice, I didn't want to leave! Back to the Country Park for the gymkhana and lots more silly fun, in fact tons of fun! The photos will be uploaded soon so judge for yourself.
Had a lovely group barbecue in the evening and us happy campers stayed up well into the dark, I expect to see more of you with tents next year though! Thanks everyone involved for organising such a great first time event at Hatton and it will be good to see this happen again next year for sure.

Final thought re Hatton
We had the best weekend of the summer weather-wise together with good fun and company. I would like to add my thanks to Colin & Mandy and (two spoons) Margaret for all their help. But most of all to all those who came and joined in our event.
I will contact the Hatton management regarding another event next year and I hope to make it better yet, so please tell your friends to look out for next years date.
